Dymphna Boholt is the founder of I Love Real Estate, a venture designed to provide anyone interested in property investing with access to the educational resources they will surely need. Covering a wide range of subjects that include asset protection, taxes, international investing, and more, the I Love Real Estate platform delves deeply into all of the strategies and principles new and experienced investors should be aware of if they are intent on generating the kind of wealth that Dymphna has generated by building a property investment portfolio.

Raised in Central Queensland, Dymphna has lived and worked all over the world, including in places like Sydney and Bangkok, but a desire to return to Central Queensland — and the Sunshine Coast of Australia in particular — served as a source of motivation for achieving wealth through passive income strategies. During her first year as a property investor, Dymphna demonstrated how quickly one can achieve their goals, putting together a $3.5 million property portfolio with $1.55 million in equity.

In the 16 years since beginning her career as a property investor, Dymphna Boholt has earned international acclaim for her unrivaled success and often accepts requests to appear as a featured speaker at events all over the world. She also continues to offer mentoring and educational services to anyone seeking to achieve wealth and prosperity through property investing.

Do you know what steez is? If so, how do you express your steez?

We have a lot of unique terms in Australia that tend to puzzle visitors, so I thought “steez” might have an Australian origin when I first set out to learn its definition. Obviously, that was not the case, but I believe “steez” is best expressed through the work we do for others.

When you were younger what was your dream occupation?

I worked on a cattle station when I was young, so I got to interact with the horses on a fairly regular basis. There was a time when I really wanted to own a stable or just work with horses in any capacity.

Who/What inspired you to get into your current field?

Along with Dr. Dolf de Roos, I was inspired by the opportunity to be free from the traditional work responsibilities that rob you of so much time and energy.

What is one current trend that excites you?

I believe that there is a trend in which people are realizing that the security that comes with traditional employment is significantly overstated. This ultimately leads to the understanding that there is an opportunity to be free of all of the responsibilities that are exchanged for that supposed security.

What would you consider your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest personal accomplishment has to be my family, and my biggest professional accomplishment is the investing success that has given me the opportunity to spend so much more time with my family.

What do you think of social media? Has it made an impact on your professional career?

I think of it as a great tool for striking up a conversation that can then be continued in a more personal way, so it has allowed me to reach so many more people than I would have otherwise been able to reach.

If you were ever to start again, would you do anything differently?

I believe that every experience plays a role in shaping your future, so I wouldn’t do anything differently if given the opportunity to start again.

What do you see for the future?

My focus for the future will be primarily on spending time with my family while continuing to serve as a mentor and an educator for property investors all over the world.

What’s one piece of advice you can tell our readers?

You will never have to sacrifice your personal goals in order to achieve your professional goals if you make sure all of your goals are so perfectly aligned that the achievement of a professional goal naturally leads to the achievement of a personal goal.
