Wealth management is inherently complex and presents a host of difficulties for the overwhelming majority of individuals Chase Rubin, an elite business investor and broker, decided that finding wealth management and financial planning opportunities should look beyond the box and into the world of technology and social media.

Since branching out into private trading and investing, Mr. Rubin has consistently strived to create comprehensive wealth management services that address all areas of personal wealth. In developing this client-centered and full-service approach to wealth management, Mr. Rubin has clearly succeeded in meeting the needs of his clients through the highly individualized and detail-oriented approach he has long espoused.

Mr. Rubin, a longtime resident of the Manhattan in New York City, has now set his sights on expanding his client-centered and full-service approach from more traditional investment opportunities to startups and technology-based opportunities. The wealth management expert has also expressed a feeling of personal satisfaction due to the fact that so many of his industry peers have been increasingly adopting the core principles Mr. Rubin has relied upon for more than a decade while serving in his professional role as the company’s president.

Do you know what steez is? If so, how do you express your steez?

Even though I have spent most of my life on the East Coast, I am familiar with the Southern Rock scene—artists such as Hootie and the Blowfish– and am pleased to see this recent renewal of interest in pop culture from the 1990s. In my personal and professional life, I believe in adhering to my values and principles regardless of the circumstance, which is probably the best method I can cite for expressing my steez.

When you were younger what was your dream occupation?

Running my own business — regardless of the industry — was a dream of mine from a very early age. I eventually became interested in investing and economics, so it was only natural to pursue a career in the wealth management industry.

Who/What inspired you to get into your current field?

I just recognized that so many people need expert assistance in understanding emerging industries, and clearly the best strategy for providing that kind of assistance on a large scale involved the creation of my investment business as it is today.

What is one current trend that excites you?

Even in the face of the most difficult circumstances, it seems that more and more people are willing to take ownership of their economic situation in order to develop a strategy for generating a wholly positive outcome over the short and long term.

What would you consider your biggest accomplishment?

My biggest accomplishment is simply creating a principled wealth management system that is solely focused on assisting my clients in achieving and exceeding their personal financial goals.

What do you think of social media? Has it made an impact on your professional career?

At first, I was only curious, but I now recognize that utilizing social media for a specific purpose yields a great deal of good for so many people, including myself. I’m constantly taking notes on potential investment opportunities and business contacts, all thanks to social media.

If you were ever to start again, would you do anything differently?

I’m sure there are things I could have done differently, but I would never want to change anything considering the fact that all of those decisions led me to where I am today.

What do you see for the future?

I see a future in which Rubin Wealth Management is able to continually expand its reach with the goal of assisting more and more clients to achieve financial stability and security through the wealth management services we offer.

What’s one piece of advice you can tell our readers?

Although some may disagree with the decisions you make as the leader of a business, it is your responsibility to do what is in company’s best interest. It is difficult to ignore external pressure in these circumstances, so remember that you are the one who must answer for your decisions. This is why I believe it is so critical to consistently adhere to one’s own principles.
